Couples Getaway to Jamaica (December 2024)

It was an amazing relaxing getaway with just me and the wife. It was warm the entire time even in the rain. Dunns river falls is a must see a beautiful jungle scenery with a river of waterfalls that eventually waterfall into the ocean you start at the bottom and hike up through the water. Also, if you’re into scuba diving, I highly recommend going there and doing that as well.

50th Anniversary Hawaiian Cruise (September 2024) 

Arriving in Honolulu, I thought to myself, this is just like Chicago or Cleveland, hot and unbelievable traffic. We went for a long walk around town to settle in. The next morning we got a Lyft to Pearl Harbor. The USS Missouri was not included in our tour package, and we only had enough time for the Arizona Memorial. This was a bucket list item for us. On expressing our disappointment to Pearl, our native Hawaiian bus driver, she took our names down, said she would make room on her second tour for our ride back, and gave a very complete history of the days leading to the Pearl Harbor attack.


The morning of the cruise, we were trying to get a ride to the port and the hotel concierge suggested we walk. He said it was a beautiful Sunday morning and it's only a ten-minute walk from the AC Mariott. It was probably more like 15 to 20 min, but the second right thing that happened to us. We got to see the Iolani Palace and the Hawaii State Supreme Court.

Norwegian really knows how to take care of its guests. Thank you for a wonderful experience. We couldn't have done this on our own.

COUPLES GETAWAY - PUNTA CANA (April, 2024)

Lisa was amazing to work with. We didn’t necessarily have a plan or place but she listened and got to work with multiple ideas for us. She was extremely patient with me as I tried to decide where to go. When I forgot to select our seat assignment on the plane, she reached out right away and reminded me to do that. If it wasn’t for her, we wouldn’t have gone on this trip because of my oversight. She was a pleasure to work with and was always reachable when needed. Lisa, we will be booking again with you soon! HONEYMOON (MAY, 2023) - Property: Ocean Maya Royale
The overall stay was great. Not sure about the hot tub, looked a little old. The bathroom door was just a glass door that had some privacy coating. In order to turn the lights on we had to use one of our credit cards because they no longer provide guest room keys which was great. The bracelet key was awesome. The butler's service was amazing.

SOLO GETAWAY - MALDIVES  (March, 2023)
 From start to finish, Lisa was there - she was able to take my obscure vacation destination and deliver with a great experience and come in well under the budget I had set for the trip. The resort was rustically beautiful, true to its island roots with outstanding customer service. Flights were well timed with layovers allowing stress free international transfers.

FAMILY VACATION - WAIKIKI, HAWAII (June, 2022)

We thought for sure that traveling to Hawaii for a family vacation would be out of our budget, but it absolutely wasn't and we had the greatest time.  We hiked, played in the water, learned to surf, jumped off enormous rocks, ate lots of shaved ice, and even found a little time to relax. It was such an awesome trip.

Hidden Gems: Sandy Beach is more of a local spot, so not as crowded but still as lovely. Also not as crowded but so much fun was China Wall. If you want to spot some sea turtles, head to Maunalua Bay. We saw too many to count. North Shore was beautiful. The ride from Waikiki wasn't very long and totally worth it. Jumping off the rock at Waimea Bay was a vacation highlight. The beaches/water at North Shore are totally different than Honolulu/Waikiki and very much worth the drive. If you want a challenge, hike the Koko Crater Railway Trail. It was brutal, but very rewarding .The view from the top was epic. 

COUPLES GETAWAY - Maui, Hawaii (June, 2022)

Beautiful island, friendly staff, (property) needs huge facelift, very outdated, reasonable prices everywhere for a couple but for a family could get overwhelming easily, nothing was just affordable it was either go to pool or beach for free or take a guided excursion for hundreds each which was shocking but understandable with post pandemic culture.  I would definitely return to this beautiful island, still the best vacation spot to date!
